Kosterdam Nature Resort prides themselves on putting you, our valued guest, first. Management and staff make a point of serving their guests with an ever-ready smile and quality service at all times. Our priority is to make you feel welcome and special from the moment you arrive until the time you leave.

We believe in having fun with our campers, even if it means accepting a dare during winter to take a swim in our resorts pool. The resort is beautifully maintained, with clean ablution facilities, a pool to cool off during our extremely hot summers, a moderately well stocked kiosk with all the necessary products for your self catering purposes and all fishing needs.

Koster Dam Nature Resort has the most beautiful sunsets to enjoy while you bait up your fishing hook and throw in your line. We have a wide variety of fish in our dam that includes, Carp, Barber, Kurper, Bass and Yellow Fish. We operate on a strict catch and release policy.

The resort staff take care of the gardens and camping terrains each day, so that each camper can have a pleasant camping experience with us. Koster Dam Nature Resort has a large Lapa, that can be rented out for different occasions and functions.

Each year, the “Eisbeinfees” is presented with great success. There are several “Hengel” clubs that host their annual competitions here like Promania, the Pretoria SAPS club, Elite Series and Rustenburg Hengelklub.

In collaboration with the South African Police Department (SAPS) and our surrounding farm workers who have a zero tolerance towards crime. The dam in conjunction with our local farmers hosts an annual workers braai day, to discuss matters that involve the community and how we can keeping them safe.

We are a non-profit organization involved in community projects. One in particular called the “padskouer projek”, where we provide work for five unemployed men and their families in the Millvale area, to clean and maintain the roads, focusing on safety for our road users. All trees are trimmed, and grass neatly maintained, so that should a fire break out, it will lead to easier fire prevention and control.

We belong to the Fire Protection Association (FPA) training – each year we offer fire training for workers at the dam on our grounds. Every worker who completes the training receives a certificate of completion.
